Excitingly, CGCG is going to participate in the WAM (We Are Many) Saskatoon Garlic Self Sufficiency Project by donating a space in our garden to the project. The garlic grown in the garden will be shared amoungst the CGCG gardeners and WAM.
Not only is locally grown garlic more nutritious, it is also delicious, ethical and environmentally sustainable. What is not to love!
Melissa Gan of WAM is planning to stop by the garden (possibly with garlic) during our work bee on September 29th. I am looking forward to welcoming Melissa to the garden and discussing this exciting project.
