Well this incredible weather is really getting me excited for the upcoming gardening season! This is just an update with what is already going on at the garden.
First, a warm welcome to all new gardeners!
Next, we have a new site for communication between members.
This is a great way to communication with one another aside from email or seeing people at the garden. So feel free to login and ask questions, post discussions and information and of course we all want to see the beautiful pictures that people take through the season.
To join the group, just click on the following link and login with a google account (non google members will have to set up an account but minimal information and time required to do so)
The more people we have using the site the more enjoyable it will be for everyone!
Manure and compost will be arriving at the garden (if it isn't already there) by Friday.
Rototilling will take place this Saturday May 7th at 1pm. That gives people a bit of time to get the compost onto their plot before being rototilled.
Next Steering Committee meeting will be held on May 18th, @ 6:00 pm at the garden.
